EvesPuddingEve's pudding is a type of traditional British pudding now made from apples and Victoria sponge cake mixture.

{tab Ingredients} 

  • 450 grams Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Water


  • 50 grams Margarine
  • 50 grams Caster Sugar
  • 1 medium Egg
  • 125 grams Self-Raising Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Lemon Zest, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Water

  1. Grease 600 ml pie dish and put prepared apples, 1 tablespoon sugar and water.
  2. Cream margarine and sugar, add rind, beat in egg and stir in flour and water.
  3. Spread over the apples.
  4. Bake at 200°C for 50 minutes.
