Cod Roe & BaconThis is a favourite breakfast dish in Cornwall, the north of England and Ireland.

  • 450 grams Cod Roe, cooked
  • Seasoned Flour
  • Lard
  • 4 rashers Bacon

{tab Instructions}

  1. Peel the skin of the cod roe and cut into 1 cm thick slices.
  2. Coat with seasoned flour, and fry in a little lard, with the bacon, until golden brown.
  3. Serve with potato cakes.
