{tab Ingredients} 

  • 230 grams Self-Raising Flour
  • 1 medium Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 50 grams Sugar
  • Salt, pinch of
  • 50 grams Butter
  • Coconut
  • Jam, melted

{tab Instructions} 

  1. Cream butter, sugar and salt together, until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat egg into mixture, and then fold in the flour a little at a time.
  3. Mixture should be fairly stiff.
  4. Divide into 24 balls.
  5. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 180˚C for 8-10 minutes.
  6. When Cold, brush over with the melted jam and roll in the coconut, joining two half’s of a ball together.
